Hair Tools; Styling
Hair Tools have been chosen by the BBC Hair and Make-up department as the
official supplier of products such as Parlux, Vibe and Head Jog, for use in the
for the upcoming BBC coverage of the World cup South Africa 2010.
Sarah Herrman and Sallyann Sexton, hairstylist and make-up artists for the BBC,
are already fans of the Parlux 3200 range, which they recently used on the show
“League of their own” (Sky1 flag ship show hosted by James Cordon, currently running). Now Hair Tools have kitted them out with a selection of their popular
products which will be used for styling celebrity presenters such as; Gabby Logan,
Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer, Alan Hanson, Collin Murrey, Lee Dixon, & Mark Bright.

HAIR TOOLS AT SALON INTERNATIONAL
We are into our 14th year this year at Salon International.
Nearly every year we have increased our stand size, from originally a shell scheme,
to now a 105m², multifunctional stand that provides selling space as well as a stage
area for demonstrations. This year we have also booked an additional two stands
in conjunction with our suppliers Parlux and Tondeo, which provides us with an extra 30m² for 2009.
Every year proves extremely successful for us in regards to sales and every year
we have to increase the amount of stock we take to Salon. During recent years
the Hair Tools stand has been on of the most visited stands at Salon international,
offering a full spectrum of professional hairdressing products, from Hairdryers and
Straighteners to brushes and general sundries.

Hair Tools are pleased to announce that their brand VIBE was the sponsor of Miss Great Britain 2009, which took place at Café de Paris,
The event was hosted by Jack Whitehall and Judged by Paul Gascoigne, Simon Webbe, Gary Lucy, Nikki Sanderson and Adele Silva.

Marco Pierre White Gets the chop...
TV Chef Marco Pierre White, who had not had a hair cut for 18months, brought
along his favourite knife so that Adee Phelan could cut his hair with it.
These photos are part of a series of celebrity photo-shoots done with Adee Phelan, which will hopefully be put together as a collection for a new upcoming book.

VIBE, by Hair Tools, short-listed for the UK Beauty Awards 2009!

the category of Best New Hair Product of the Year!
2009 saw the launch of the eagerly awaited Clothes Show London and with it came
the outstanding launch of The UK Beauty Awards.
The UK Beauty Awards acknowledged the industries best products, fragrances and organic products.
Nominated by Beauty PR agencies, short-listed by editors and voted for by the
public, these exciting awards celebrated the very best products in the industry.
The awards ceremony took place on Friday 29th May 2009 within the spectacular Fashion Theatre, Clothes Show London, ExCeL, followed by a performance of the fabulous Catwalk show. The event was hosted by Erin O'Connor and George Lamb.
